DIY Summer Street Style Dress

Hey Peeps! You just can’t ignore airy fabrics, that bohemian style ,fun prints ,cut out and yes dresses this summer. For me , wearing jeans in summer ??? uhhh. Sorry I cannot handle that 😛 That doesn’t mean I do not wear jeans at all but yes I try to avoid , specially on sunny days 😉 . So , I’ve decided to prepare a DIY using my closet clothes.Let’s checkout the look and the detail below.

Any guesses so far on what I am wearing ??? 🙂

Well , no more puzzles, I have used one of my long flowy bohemin style skirt and a white shirt to get this look.

1- Grab any  long , printed/boho or any maxi skirt.

2- Instead of tying it to your waist , pull it up over the chest and tie the strings

and see it’s just so simple to get into this street style look. 🙂

3- To amp up the look I combined it with this cool white shirt from Mango on top of it.Shirt can be tied up into a beautiful sideways or middle  knot or you can leave it too as flowy.

Also, it’s not necessary to carry a shirt on top of your dress but you should add some oomph factor to the dress. Aha ! do not worry, nothing extra , you can tie the skirt’s string right in to the middle or if you want , can add some pom pom to it 🙂

Coming to foot wear, I opted for flat yet glam shoe from Westside store.IMG_20170409_184457_192

Last but not least, summer makeup and my favorite part to be discussed on.

In summer time, none of us want to look cakey . Also we do not want a heavy makeup either. So, we can go for a very light yet bright makeup. But wait! What ? Light yet bright makeup?

Yes :), take a look below:

I used only four products for this look:

1- Used my current obsession.BB cream from Colorbar to even out the surface. Foundation??? Nah!  A Big NO to foundation.

2- Peachy  pinkish eye shadow on my lids and yes that’s the highlight to instantly pop up my face 🙂

3- A very nude brown kajal from Maybelline new gel liners on my inner lids of eyes .

4- This time , no poppy color on lips, rather I went ahead with a very subtle brown nude lip shade from Lakme in the shade ‘Cabernet category‘ . Yeah, I am bending more towards brown shades now a days and ditching my Reds, Pinks , orange and bla bla common  colors.Hope, soon  I will use them again though 😉

I hope you all loved this DIY idea. You guys also can make use of your old hanging clothes from your closet and please do share with me as well , in case you are going to recreate this look 🙂 I would love to see the pictures 🙂 🙂
